While we all face a long road ahead and practice social isolation, we need art more than ever to help us find comfort, hope, and a sense of unity.
Today, I am thrilled to announce a new partnership with Scandinavia House, following our collaboration last month in hosting a book talk. Even more, I am proud to introduce you to our new emerging artists, Driton Selmani born in Ferizaj, Kosovo and David Straange born in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

This Silence is a short documentary following dancer and choreographer Gentian Doda. It tells the story through movement and emotions on stage, with a quiet look at New York City streets.
In the award ceremony at Somerset House, Sir John Sorrell CBE, President of the London Design Biennale, presented Dino Korca with the Medal congratulating him for the outstanding contribution to the Biennale. “We are extremely honored to receive this recognition from London Design Biennale” said Dino Korca, Curator and Albanian Institute Director.
Albanian Institute New York is pleased to announce that it will represent Albania at the inaugural London Design Biennale 2016. “We are greatly honored to have been invited to present at the London Design Biennale, a truly global stage and the presentation of our participation will be part of a visual conversation that will be captured, shared and amplified all over the world” said Dino Korca, curator and director of the institute.
