Film & Moving Image

Film & Video Program

The Albanian Film Institute presents and promotes Albanian cinema and actively seeks out and supports the next generation of filmmakers and film talent globally. This mission is accompanied by a commitment to expand our audiences and make film and artists’ moving image works accessible to the most diverse and widest possible audience.

Film, filmmaking, the expression within a film can be a window for us to see another human being, another human expression, and we can celebrate our differences of language, culture, custom and our common humanity at the same time. Movies are the memories of our lifetime. We need to keep them alive.
